water-bath method IS the way. Maybe.
So last week I decided to make pudding. Japanese style which Ive gotten the recipe from www.about.com
It was fairly easy honestly... But the weird thing is, it calls for steaming rather than water-bath. Ive never heard of steaming pudding before. Nonetheless, I tried it.
Before steaming. It's sad actually. I like to bake, but I don't possess any baking stuff. AND I don't have any pudding glass or something. So I had to resort to using... some old ice cream container my mom saved back in the days containers that could withstand the heat.
And the result is...
a lump of sugar on top of the pudding.
Note to myself in the future. Try water bath method in the oven instead to avoid such occurance.
Or maybe I should just use a proper pudding glass.
